5 PRO TIPS FOR A BEAUTY FULL WEDDING
5 PRO TIPS FOR A BEAUTY FULL WEDDING
LET SOMEONE ELSE WORRY ABOUT IT.
One of the first things we tell our clients when booking their wedding services is, designate a beauty manager. This can be a bridesmaid, maid of honor, or even a good friend. What is a beauty manager you may be asking? They are in charge of keeping everything beauty related organized and running smoothly. They are responsible for your vail, hair accessories, makeup as well as keeping up with any appointments you may have. During the last few weeks before the big day, things start to flow at a fast pace. Your beauty manager will help ensure all goes well for your hair and make-up part of your wedding.
GET PLENTY OF BEAUTY SLEEP.
Let’s face it – planning a wedding can be overwhelming. The importance of managing stress cannot be emphasized enough. All those restless nights worrying about last minute details will only leave you even more exhausted and overwhelmed—try and unwind with a yoga routine or a relaxing meditation session before bed. Not only is meditation healthy for body and mind, it will help you relax and get a good night’s sleep. Feeling refreshed on the big day will make all the difference!
EXFOLIATE AND REFRESH
The day before your wedding it is important to exfoliate your face, lips and neck to create a flawless canvas for your make-up. Most professionals will tell you the trick to a flawless look is to begin with clean, fresh moisturized skin. Exfoliating removes any dead, dry skin from the surface, as well as cleans your pores. This allows your skin to take in more oxygen leaving it perfect for the artist to do their work.
DIRTY IS BETTER
Before you get too excited, I am only talking about your hair. When it comes to styling your hair, dirty is better. We suggest you don’t wash your hair the day of or the day before your wedding. When your hair is freshly washed it tends to be softer and lighter, making it difficult to style your hair. When the oils have time to build up on the hair shaft it weighs the hair down making it easier to shape the hair. We also understand everyone’s hair is different, use your discretion, you know your hair. If you have thin, fine, hair or hair that gets oily quickly, you may decide the day before is the best way to go. We only ask that you don’t wash the day of, and that you’re hair is completely dry so we can work our magic!
HAVE FUN
You want everything to be perfect, but what good is a perfect wedding if you are stressed and can’t enjoy yourself? In my experience when you try so hard to make things perfect, you always have something go wrong. Your other half is marrying you because they love YOU, so be yourself. Don’t stress over things that may go wrong, you can’t do anything about it even if it does. Enjoy this moment and have FUN!
